Our twelfth annual All Angels Jazz Festival, this year featuring Latin Jazz, will be February 2 through 4, 2018. 

Friday night’s headliner is Kauai’s own Latin band Rumba de Fuego, featuring Manuel Mendez, Cindy Labrador, Paul Foti, Cary Valentine, Chris White-Root, Steve Dubey, Kat Mobley, Carlos Del Angel and John Zangrando.  Opening the evening is New Orleans Jazz master piano/vocalist  Matt Lemmler with Abe Lagrimas Jr and Darryl Miyasato.  Concert time is 7 pm.

Saturday night we welcome as headliners 8-time Grammy nominee Tierney Sutton with Latin Jazz great Gabriel Espinosa, along with Dave Kobberdahl, Mauricio Zottarelli, Misha Tsiganov, and guests Steve Dubey and John Zangrando.  The evening opener is Hawaii’s own Jazz ukulele virtuoso Benny Chong and with bassist Byron Yasui.  Concert time is 7 pm.  

Tickets can be bought here via Brown Paper Tickets (pay with PayPal) or from the church office starting December 10.  Quantities are limited, so please purchase your tickets early to avoid disappointment.  Any remaining tickets can be purchased at the door.

Earlybird Friday and Saturday night tickets are $45 single night or both nights for $85.  Earlybird tickets may be purchased only online and only through December 31.  Regular price Friday and Saturday night tickets will be available online starting January 1.  Prices will be $50 single night or both nights for $95.   Quantities are limited and are subject to prior sale.  Any remaining tickets will be available at the door for $60.

Sunday Jazz Masses are at 8:30 am and 11 am.  The theme is Live Love Louder! featuring Matt Lemmler, Abe Lagrimas, Jr., Gabriel Espinosa, and the All Angels Jazz Mass soloists and guest instrumentalists. The Jazz Masses are open to the public and free.  (There will be an offering; please be generous!) Our Jazz Masses typically attract standing room only crowds.

Lihue is located on the Hawaiian island of Kauai which is a short airplane ride from Honolulu, the commercial and transportation hub of the state.  There are frequent inter-island flights from Honolulu.  In addition, Lihue has non-stop service from a number of mainland cities on Alaska Airlines, American Airlines, Delta Airlines, Hawaiian Airlines, United Airlines, and seasonally on WestJet. The airport code for Lihue is LIH.  Many major hotel chains are represented on Kauai.
